Mushrooms

Recently I noted several art photographers working with themes such as the culture, growing, and collecting of mushrooms. Most notable perhaps, is NW photographer Eirik Johnson. I must say, what a great topic to explore through art.  While living on Orcas Island, my children and I became entranced with all the different species of mushrooms. In one day, within in a 1/4 mile radius of our house, we identified over 50 different species. In celebration, memory, and opportunity, I decided to peruse my own mushroom collection (photographs) and post a few on my blog.
