On Tuesday, I was fortunate to attend a bee keeping workshop along with the F.E.A.S.T program (Farm Education and Sustainability for Teens). The workshop was hosted by the La Campesina Project and led by my families favorite farmer, farmer Ronda, who brings us our weekly CSA.

The bees gather nectar from the flowers to produce sweet honey. With the La Campesina Project, honey is of second importance since farming is what they do. The bees help pollinate the plants, which can quadruple a yield with the help of bees. Ah, isn't symbiosis swell
